Foodclean A cleaner, sharper site for a smarter way to clean

We partnered with Foodclean to transform their website into a lead-generating tool that reflects their expertise, supports long-term growth, and positions them as strategic partners in food manufacturing hygiene.

Foodclean approached Optima with a clear ambition: to transform their digital presence into a strategic tool – one that could elevate their brand, clarify their offer, and lay strong foundations for growth.

This wasn’t just a design refresh – it was a key step in repositioning Foodclean as a forward-thinking partner to the food manufacturing industry.

Foodclean helps food producers reduce their Total Cost of Clean™ through innovative hygiene solutions that drive efficiency, safety and sustainability. With the business undergoing a period of brand realignment and repositioning, the timing was right to reimagine how Foodclean was presented online. We worked closely with their internal marketing team as a trusted partner – investing time to understand their business, values and processes. Together, we created a people-focused website with tailored content that speaks directly to the key challenges influencing hygiene practices in food manufacturing.

The site moves beyond simply listing products. It is structured to support solution-based thinking – helping users understand how Foodclean’s range of equipment, services and expertise address real-world hygiene pressures. Content is clearly signposted and user journeys are streamlined to make it easy for visitors to explore, engage and take action.

We designed and developed a bespoke WordPress website using a lean custom theme, built with flexible content blocks. This approach gives Foodclean full control over how the site evolves and allows their team to easily create new pages and expand content as the business grows. The platform is fast, adaptable and designed to scale alongside the brand’s ambitions.

To support their international presence, the site launched in both English and French using the Weglot plugin. Crucially, all translated content is editable – enabling Foodclean’s team to localise messaging and SEO for their French-speaking audience. Spanish was added shortly after launch, reflecting the platform’s flexibility and the business’s global outlook.
