Do you need help building a professional website for your charity or community organisation, or maybe just to get an idea moving that you think can make a difference?
We can help. Apply now for the OWG! (Optima Website Grant).
Date published: 11 December 2025 Updated: 12 December 2025
A gifted website project for a Lincolnshire charity, project or community organisation
As part of Optima’s Thirty Things celebrations, we’re gifting a complete website project to one charity, grassroots organisation or community group in Lincolnshire. The selected organisation will receive a professionally designed website, the design of a site or building of a complicated feature or a refresh of their site – delivered by the end of April 2026, at no cost.
Whether you have an idea sketched out on paper, a site badly in need of an update, or you’ve simply outgrown your online presence, this OWG grant is for you.
For many small organisations doing vital work, a strong, hardowkring, secure website can make an enormous difference — helping reach more people, improve credibility, support fundraising or just help people in need. But limited budgets, time and expertise often make it difficult. This grant aims to remove that barrier.
What the selected organisation could receive from our team includes:
- A bespoke, professionally designed website
- Ideas and input as to what you could achieve
- Clean, accessible design aligned to your brand
- Access to a team of experts to help fix any existing issues
- Content management system setup with the tools you need to manage content easily
- Initial SEO optimisation to help you get started
- Training for your team
How it works
Optima will review all applications and select a shortlist. We’ll contact shortlisted organisations to learn more before choosing a final recipient based on merit, need or strength of the idea.
We will then work with the selected organisation to:
- Refine the brief and clarify goals
- Outline a website structure and content plan
- Design a website that reflects your brand and values
- Build the full site in WordPress
- Provide training on content editing and basic SEO
- Support you in launching the site successfully
Who can apply?
We’re inviting entries from:
- Registered charities
- Volunteer-led or community groups
- Small not-for-profit organisations
- Social initiatives that would benefit from a stronger digital presence
Applicants should preferably be based in Lincolnshire, ideally with a focus on improving lives in local communities.
How to apply?
To apply, please send:
- A short introduction to your organisation
- The purpose of your new website and who it will help
- Any challenges you currently face with your digital presence
- Contact details for the person submitting the application
Email entries to:
Ben Hovell-Boulton – ben@optimadesign.co.uk
Deadline: Entries close on Friday 9th January, and the selected organisation will be announced in late January.
This project is an important part of our 30-year celebrations, and we’re excited to support an organisation making a real difference. If you know a group that would benefit, please encourage them to apply.
*Funded to the value of £3,000. Website must be completed before 30 April 2026.
