WWF T Shirts for Life

Share

WWF asked us to design a range of T shirts to appeal to a younger market than their current range of tie dyed stuff could reach. This was music to our ears and after a period of jumping around the studio, we set to it.

The result was an awesome range of designs all based around endangered species and planetary suicide. Each design with a twist – like the three Hanging on For Life T shirts, each one highlighting the plight of a different animal, one being the Amur Leopard, of which there are only 40 left in the world. The twist is that each T shirt had a giant print on the back, making it look as though the endangered animal is clinging onto the wearers’ back, literally hanging on for life.

The other part of the challenge with this job was to supply the T shirts to WWF with as green credentials as possible. This meant sourcing organic cotton T shirts, fair trade & ethically produced, in a range of colours. We also used the only soil association certified organic printer in Europe. Topped off with bio-degradable plastic packaging and 100% recycled swing tags, these garments really couldn’t get any more eco-friendly.

Our studio did an absolutely fantastic job of designing a range of T’s that are a huge leap forward for WWF, and their sales figures reflect this. My words can’t come close to describing the T shirts adequately so please check out the photos.

We love T shirts, as a medium for carrying a message, as a creative thing to design and as a great thing to wear but when these things combine with an opportunity to help save the planet, we jump for joy.
