Schools’ Christmas Competition 2012

Silver bells, silver bells. It's Christmas time in the city.
For the seventh consecutive year, Optima have sponsored the Christmas tree at The Collection museum.
A total of 5 schools accepted our invitation to take part and decorate the large gift tags (kindly donated by Chameleon Print).
The schools involved were Washingborough Academy, Witham St Hughs Academy, Branston Infant School, St Faith’s Infant School and Bishop King Primary. Over 300 colourful and creative designs were submitted!
The judging took place at The Collection on Monday 3rd December. This was an extremely difficult decision as the designs were all of a very high standard.
The eventual winner of the competition was Ava Hollingsworth (age 7) from Washingborough Academy with Zosia Lyall (Witham St Hughs Academy) and Charlotte Henry (Branston Infant School) being worthy runners up.
Ava will receive a prize for her fantastic design with an article on the competition to appear in the Lincolnshire Echo.
You will see all the designs on display at The Collection over the festive period with the winning design sitting proud at the very top.
On behalf of everyone at The Collection and all the team at Optima Graphic Design, we would like to thank all the pupils that took part; the designs were all fantastic.
