Optima win pitch for Repton prospectus

We have recently been awarded the work to design and print the 2011 prospectus for Repton School and we are all very excited about this!
After the initial invitation, myself and Jayne (our Creative Director) went for a nosey around the school (with permission of course) to get a better feel of the school and what messages were key for the document. Presentations were held at the end of February and not long after, received the phone call telling us the great news!
It was such a buzz to get the call and then let the team know after all the hard work that had gone into the designs. We have worked with the school for nearly 4 years on various projects but have never had the chance to work with them on the prospectus. We know that this year’s will be the best yet!
Over the summer months there will be a certain amount of art direction to take place with the selected photographer, as there are certain shots that we need to compliment the design styles. We just hope for some warm, sunny days, get some great photos and maybe a bit of a tan.
The last few weeks has seen the team develop the designs for the front cover and we plan to roll out the rest of the design and setting over the summer months. We have also worked very closely with our printers to make sure we get best value on both price and more importantly quality. They also happen to be a stone throw from the school so this will also reduce the carbon footprint when delivery takes place in September.
Unfortunately we don’t have any images yet but will be adding these to the blog once delivery takes place so feel free to come back and have a look. In the meantime have a look at a selection of other work we have produced for Repton and feel free to comment.
