Best Foot Forward

Optima were proud to put their best foot forward and support this year’s Relay for Life Lincoln.

Despite heavy downpours over 100 people gathered at William Farr for a sponsored relay and celebrations, including a range of stalls and music, in a bid to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.

As part of our support we donated the design, source and print of a range of promotional material including flyers, posters, leaflets, information boards and banners.

Relay for Life Lincoln event organiser, Katie Parkin, is delighted with the event’s success: “Since coming to Lincoln three years ago Relay for Life has raised over £100,000 for Cancer Research UK, something that wouldn’t have been possible without the support and generosity of local businesses such as Optima.

“Despite last minute changes due to the weather, Optima were extremely helpful, making last minute changes to a range of printed materials.”

Relay for Life Lincoln is a sponsored 24hour relay at William Farr School where each relay team has to keep at least one member on the track at all times. The 24hour event runs overnight and includes a cancer Survivor’s Lap of Honour and moving Candle of Hope ceremony.
