Optima have successfully won the pitch for the University of Lincoln's Prospectus. The team competed nationally against two other recognised design companies for this coverted and prestigious piece. Optima presented two schemes and a range of covers to complement them.
“This year we really focussed on the layout and structure of the prospectus, promoting USPs and then leading straight into the Course information, a radical change to the documents structure. This decision came about following extensive market research on new recruits as to what their order of priority was with the prospectus. We have then looked at how the sections are structured and how we can create a final document that is easily navigated, engages the reader and inspires them to contact the University and discover more”, commented Jayne Waistell, Optima’s Studio Manager and the project leader on the new 2008 Prospectus. The next prospectus will also be larger than in previous years at a 240x260 mm size. The 220 page document is on schedule to hit the first Heist mailing and will be printed by Taylor Bloxham, who also printed the 2007 prospectus.
